Pastor Tigg Vanaman planned an exciting week for our time together. Monday night the church members of all ages participated in a Family Fun Night. We split the auditorium into two teams to see which side could answer more trivia and bring forward the most random items Pastor called out. Everyone enjoyed the fun! Aaron followed up with a message for families.
Wednesday night, we had our Irish Concert and many visitors attended. We love seeing church members bring in their friends and family, not only for a good night of music but to hear the gospel preached. The children’s program maxed out the room we were using this week! They brought in so many visitors they reached the goal to make a Mohawk in Mr. Brad’s hair. They had a blast!
Our Cola War on Thursday was a success as well. The teens did a great job inviting their friends. At the end of the night, we counted nine visitors out of the twenty-one teens there. After some rough and crazy games, we all enjoyed some great pizza and some indoor competition with Tic Tac Challenge. The teens of Great Lakes loved the challenges and were completely absorbed in the game. What a fun group! After the message, there were three teens who had heard the message of Jesus and knew that they do not have a personal relationship with Him.
Pray that God would continue to work through the people of Great Lakes in their area and friends in the work that God has begun.
