Coffey Bean #4

We like coffee…but of course, that’s to be expected since our last name is Coffey. Our whole married life (and Aaron for all his life) has had many “coffee-isms” and jokes thrown our way. When we were expecting our first child, Ella, we didn’t know the gender of the baby right away. Aaron’s sister Lori fondly named it the “Coffey Bean”, and each child since has been dubbed the same!

In January, we found out that we are expecting Coffey Bean #4 this coming September. We were shocked and excited to find out that God had another child in His plans for our family. We kept the secret from our kids and talked in code for about 5 weeks. While we were in South Carolina and my parents could come to a service or two, we had them over one night. I printed out my ultrasound picture and put it in a frame next to the other children’s pictures. Ella’s reaction was priceless…and expected. She didn’t disappoint! We are thankful for the privilege to point another life towards Christ. We pray that God will save “it”, and that “it” will not just be saved but love God and serve Him! We are planning on, Lord willing, having the baby in Detroit. Please pray for a safe pregnancy as we travel, as well as a healthy baby.
