Florida Fun

​We met up with our team at the beginning of January to begin our spring semester on the road. We spent our first month of ministry together in Florida…and we certainly enjoyed it! Our family went to Disney World with my parents before the team met up with us for our first meeting of the year. Ella and the boys almost exploded with excitement when we told them what their Christmas present was!

Once the team came and joined us, we had a few days of fun scattered in as well. The first couple of weeks were spent in Titusville. During our days off, the team cruised over to a natural beach near the Kennedy Space Center. We were hoping there would be a launch while we were in town, but unfortunately we missed it by two weeks. On Saturday of that week, our entire crew trekked over to Cocoa Beach to spend the day in the sun. The waves and weather were perfect for a January day, and we got sunburnt, sandy, and made some fun memories! The kids and the team all loved splashing around, jumping waves and having a blast!
 
Our second week in Titusville, the team went to Disney World. Becca and Emilee had never been before, so there was quite a bit of excitement and anticipation!  They spent their day off enjoying their time together and having lots of fun!
 
The next two weeks we drove to the gulf side of Florida. The first week was at Palm Harbor—to a church Aaron and Stephanie have been to many times before. We also were in Holiday, Florida where we were able to minister in and with a newer church. Being so close to Clearwater Beach for both of those weeks made it easy for the team to get over there a few times. The Coffey family enjoyed a morning at Honeymoon Island and looked for shells, got their toes in the water, and let their kids run around in the warm sand. What a blessing to enjoy Florida in January!
 
During our first week out of Florida, we had two days with snow. And the question popped into all of our minds…when are we going back to Florida?
