Saying goodbye

It is always a bittersweet time when we have to say goodbye to some of our team members who will not be returning the next year. Our team becomes like family. We live, work, minister, love and grow together in a special way throughout our time of ministry. When team members leave for their next step in life, we rejoice that God is leading them on, but we are also sad to see them leave our “family”.  We have two team members who will be leaving us and heading out into a new place of ministry!

Brad Wiggs has been traveling with us for the past two years, and we praise the Lord for the opportunity to have him serve with us. Brad was in charge of some big areas in our ministry—leading the children’s program, directing our music, and running our sound system. All three of these areas have a lot of responsibility, and he did a great job! Brad faithfully taught the Gospel almost every night of our meetings, and we are confident that God will use the seeds that he sowed to bear fruit for the Kingdom. He also helped take our music to another level, and we appreciate all his hard work. We will greatly miss his humor, submissive spirit, and his friendship. Brad is praying about some future ministry opportunities as a music leader in a church. Please be in prayer for him as he seeks God’s direction.

​Becca Newton started traveling with us when we first formed our team three years ago. She has been with us from the beginning and has helped to build our team aspect from the ground up. She has been such a blessing in helping us develop our website, taking pictures for our social media outlets, supported us in various tasks along the way, playing guitar and mandolin, and singing.  We’ve seen her take some incredible steps of growth over the last three years. God’s grace is evident in her life, and we praise God for allowing us to grow together. She is transparent with how God is changing her, and we will greatly miss her next year! Becca is serving at The Wilds this summer and will then be going home to Atlanta in August. Please pray with her for God’s direction for a job this fall.
