Due to the heavy snowstorm all over the south, Aaron called an emergency ministry team meeting. He told us that our regularly scheduled meeting would have to be postponed to deal with this crisis – a nice dusting of snow covering Fairview Baptist Church and the surrounding areas. Our immediate action was required. We all suited up and joined Pastor Alex and Anna Newton along with a few other church children to tackle the only decent hill on Fairview Baptist’s church grounds on any sled we could find!

My break started by spending a week in Atlanta, GA with my dear teammate Becca. It’s been such a huge blessing getting to know her! She has been a rebuke to me in her pursuit of Christ and it’s been awesome getting to work with her and see Christ working in both of our lives in different ways. We spent lots of time with her family, had an American thanksgiving dinner, went downtown to the World of Coke, and we also spent some time doing some crafts and such.
