Community Baptist Church Garner, NC It was such a blessing to serve at Community Baptist this past week. We really enjoyed serving with such a sweet body of believers. Saturday night, after our arrival and setup, we were able to sit down with Pastor Mike and hear his testimony as well as how the church came to be 17 years ago! On Sunday, we celebrated those 17 years with an anniversary service, and afterwards we had a church-wide fellowship. The team set up nine-square and played with the teenagers that afternoon. There was no service that evening, so Pastor and his family took us bowling! We had a blast competing and enjoying each other’s company. Rachel was on fire! Monday and Tuesday, we had regular services with teen pre-sessions and our kids program. On Wednesday, we had a family fun night, and we loved how excited the church was to compete in the activities. We had a wonderful time laughing together with the church. Thursday we had our Irish concert, and we were thrilled to have Aaron’s parents visit for the concert, as well as several of Natalie’s family members and friends. It is always so special when family is able to come to a service. Friday night, we finished our week at Community with a dodgeball tournament. The youth group and our team members were actively canvassing throughout the week in the afternoons for both the Irish concert and the dodgeball tournament, and we were able to see the Lord work through that at our dodgeball tournament, as several teenagers we met while canvassing came out to play dodgeball. The response after Aaron’s message was overwhelming, and a few even got saved. Praise the Lord! At the end of the week, the Coffey family added a new member to their clan. They adopted a sweet new puppy, Cuppa Joe. He and Brew (their other doggy!) are becoming fast friends! This little guy has brought so much joy to the whole team already. We’re already looking forward to our next time of ministry with Community Baptist! Click "Read More" to see more pictures from our week at Community Baptist!

Yates-Thagard Baptist Church Carthage, NC Our team had 2 weeks of spring break, and it was refreshing for everyone to spend time with family and friends. Our first church back after spring break was Yates-Thagard Baptist Church in Carthage, North Carolina. We had a full week of ministry and we were blessed with our time with this church. On Sunday morning, Aaron had Sunday school with the adults and the team was with the teenagers. We did special music for the morning service, and in the evening, we had a family fun night. Before the evening service, we had a hot dog fellowship with quite the dessert spread! Monday and Tuesday evening we held our regular services with teen pre sessions and kids’ program. On Tuesday, we had the special opportunity to be a part of the seniors’ luncheon! We enjoyed delicious Mexican food and sweet conversations, and we were able to play a few songs for the group as well. We had a great time laughing at Aaron doing his Mexican version of “She’ll Be Coming ‘Round the Mountain” while wearing a sombrero, and one of the ladies got up and did some clogging while we played music. Wednesday evening we had our Irish concert, and we were encouraged by the willingness of the church to invite their friends and family to the concert. Thursday night, we had a dodgeball tournament for the teenagers, and we had about 50 kids show up for the event. We always have such an awesome time hosting dodgeball tournaments, and we had a great time throughout the week connecting with the sweet teens in the church. The youth group came up to Detroit this past summer on a mission trip to “Spread the Word”, and we enjoyed seeing both new and old faces during our week with the church. On Friday, the team, plus Ella and Asher, got to go on a few plane rides with a member of the church! We’re always so thankful when people go out of their way to offer us fun and memorable experiences. A few of the team members even got to fly the plane (with assistance) for a few minutes! We’re always encouraged by our time at Yates-Thagard, and we’re looking forward to our next week of ministry with them! Click "Read More" to see more pictures from our week at Yates Thagard Baptist! Harvest Baptist Church Rock Hill, SC We had a full week right before our spring break at Harvest Baptist Church in Rock Hill, SC. The last time that we partnered with this church was back in 2020, the week in March when COVID canceled group gatherings in SC. Even though we couldn’t meet in person, we did several services via livestream that week, but we missed fellowshipping and serving with the actual church body. What a joy this past week to finally get to serve and fellowship with the members here at Harvest. Monday and Tuesday, we had a regular service with teen pre-sessions and our kid’s program. On Wednesday, we got to go canvassing with some of the youth group to promote the dodgeball tournament and the Irish concert. Afterwards, we ate dinner together and had one last pre-session for the week. Wednesday evening, we had a family fun night and had a great time with the church. Thursday evening, we had our dodgeball tournament. We hosted it outside, and we had several visitors come from outside the youth group! We had a fun time with the teenagers, and they were able to hear a message from Aaron. We are praying God will work in the hearts of these teens. Friday was our final evening with the church, and we held our Irish concert. We had a great evening, and there were many new faces to the church! Several people indicated that they had trusted Christ that evening! Click "Read More" to see more pictures from our week at Harvest Baptist! Feb 25-March 4th
Bible Baptist Church Matthews, NC We had a unique start to our week at Bible Baptist! The power went out at the church due to a local electrical outage that caused the church’s electricity to go out right as the Sunday morning activities were about to get started. Sunday School and the morning service had to be canceled, and we ended up doing a 4:00 pm afternoon service after the electricity came back on! We are thankful that we were still able to hold a service on Sunday with the church body, complete with a teen pre-session, music, and our kid’s program. Sunday evening, we were able to celebrate Rachel and Mike’s birthday! We had a fun time eating good food, and we enjoyed playing games together as well. The whiffle ball and kickball competition got a little intense! Wednesday afternoon, we had a dodgeball tournament for the teenagers! We had the opportunity to go canvassing with the youth group on Tuesday afternoon to promote the activity. It was fun to spend time with the teenagers, and we were encouraged by their attitudes and willingness to be in positions that pushed them out of their comfort zone. We also had the opportunity to lead chapels throughout the week with the Christian school! There were several elementary and secondary chapels that Aaron and the team guys got to lead and preach in. The students were very responsive to the Word, and we are thankful for the mornings we got to speak to the kids. The church body at Bible Baptist encouraged us greatly, and we enjoyed our sweet time there. Click "Read More" to see more pictures from our week at Bible Baptist! Feb 19-23

We had a full Sunday with an early morning service, followed by Sunday school, which had Aaron with the adults and the team with the youth group, and another morning service with our kids program. It truly was a blessing to be able to worship in several services in the morning. Our team then enjoyed a meal and presession with the teenagers before the evening service. Monday night we had a regular service, and Tuesday we did a Family Fun Night! Both services were followed by a teen presession. Wednesday morning, we got to do some of our Irish concert and fun music for the children from the preschool held inside the church. We also had our Cola Wars before our Wednesday evening service, followed by a teen fellowship. Our team had so much fun getting to know the youth group throughout the week, and it was so sweet to see their hearts for God. We also held our kids program every night throughout the week, and we enjoyed teaching the children and spending time each evening with them. Thursday night was our last night at the church, and we did our Irish concert. We truly were blessed by our time at this church, and we are so thankful for the kindness the staff and members of the church showed us during our week there. People’s Baptist Church Greenville, NC On Friday evening, we had the special opportunity to put on an Irish concert at Natalie’s home church, People’s Baptist in Greenville, NC! It’s always a joy when we have the chance to minister at one of our team members’ home church! Feb 12-16
Friendship Baptist Church Raleigh, NC We went to Friendship Baptist Church in Raleigh, NC for the first time as a team, and we enjoyed our time of ministry there! We had a regular morning and evening service on Sunday, with teen and adult Sunday school, ministering in school chapels, and held our kids’ program during the week as well. Monday, we did a split session with the adult men and ladies, the teenagers, and the children. Aaron spoke to the men, Steph shared a message with the ladies, half the team took the teenagers, and the other half took the children. It was a blessing to serve with the various groups of Friendship. Monday through Wednesday mornings, Hudson and Aaron had the opportunity to lead chapels for the high school students at Friendship Christian Academy. On Tuesday, Josh and Aaron led the 2 elementary student chapels/ Wednesday afternoon, we held a dodgeball tournament. We had around 80 teenagers and staff come out for a few hours of intense dodgeball. We enjoyed pizza and a short message from Aaron, and had a great time with the kids. After the tournament, we ended our time at Friendship with a regular evening service. We are so grateful to the kindness of the people of Friendship! Victory Baptist Church Macon, GA Last week, we traveled to Macon, Georgia for a week of ministry at Victory Baptist Church. For Sunday school, the whole team got to be together and listen to Aaron’s message, which is a rare but sweet blessing to us! We then held services for the morning and evening, along with our kids program. We did regular evening services for Monday and Wednesday evening as well. Tuesday night we had a split men’s and ladies’ session. Steph spoke to the ladies, Aaron shared the Word with the men, and the rest of the team held our kid’s program. Our last evening with the church was on Thursday, and we did an Irish concert for the church. A special highlight from the week was meeting a dear lady who had gotten saved six years ago when we were there. She trusted Christ after a service in 2017. Since then her husband has gotten saved and their family has continued attending and growing at Victory! We don’t know how God is at work after our time of serving with a church, so this was an especially sweet blessing to us! We were encouraged by the kindness of the members of Victory and enjoyed our time ministering to them! Click "Read More" to see more pictures from our week at Victory Baptist! Jan 29-Feb 3
Bethany Baptist Church Brevard, NC This past week, we were at Bethany Baptist Church in Brevard, North Carolina. We had such a sweet time of ministering with the church folks along with a special time of catching up with ministry friends. We held a regular Sunday morning service as our friend and music director at Bethany, Matt Taylor, led our congregationals. In the evening, we had a Family Fun Night! We had so much fun with the games and music, and Aaron preached a message on church unity. After the service, we got to partake in a youth event with the teens of the church. We played broom hockey, ate some pizza, and Hudson presented a challenge to the teens at the end of the night. We had a great time hanging out with the teenagers of the church! Monday and Tuesday we had regular services, and Wednesday night was our Irish concert. There were several visitors that came to hear the music and ultimately, hear Aaron’s gospel presentation. We are trusting that as the Gospel seeds were sown and planted, God would use His Word to convict hearts and provide further conversation with friends. It was also a treat to have former team members, Ryan McCarty and Stephanie Wright, at our concert! We loved getting to spend time with them afterwards. We are so thankful for continued team friendships after their ministry on our team from previous years. We certainly were refreshed by our time at Bethany Baptist, and we are looking forward to the weeks to come. *Special thanks to Bradley Allweil for taking our Irish Concert photos this week!* Click "Read More" to see more pictures from our week at Bethany Baptist! Grace Baptist Church Vero Beach, FL Our last week in Florida was spent at Grace Baptist Church in Vero Beach. We began our time with Grace with Aaron speaking to the men for Sunday school and Steph to the ladies. The rest of the team met with the youth group, and we came back together for the morning service. Sunday evening after the service, we enjoyed an ice cream fellowship with the church. What a fun way to get to know this sweet body of believers! On Tuesday before the evening service, the team met with the teens and played ultimate frisbee. Hudson gave a short challenge to the teens and after we enjoyed some pizza together. We had a fun time getting to know the teens during our activity! Wednesday evening was our Irish concert. Half way through the concert when we have a short “intermission”, the pastor told us that a lady had already gotten saved! She had come to the church on that Sunday because of a flyer that the church had left at her home. She had returned to the concert on Wednesday night and immediately found someone to talk to before the concert had even begun! There are people who are searching for answers, and because of the Good News, they can find their answer for hope in Jesus! What a blessing to partner with Grace Baptist in furthering the Gospel in Vero Beach this week. On our day off, Pete, a sweet member of the church, offered to take our team out on his boat! We are so thankful for the experiences and sweet memories God gives us as we travel to different places, as well as the people He brings into our lives as we serve in different churches. We are thankful for the sweet spirit of the congregation at Grace Baptist, and we enjoyed our week of ministry there. Click "Read More" to see more pictures from our week at Grace Baptist! |
