Past Team Members

Carol Anne and Asa Clemons ('15-'20)
Carol Anne is from Decatur, Alabama. She graduated from Bob Jones University with a degree in Piano Pedagogy in 2015 and spent a short time teaching before joining the team. She's a full time Mom to her son, Asa that was born in October of 2016. She also gives piano lessons to our daughter, assists Stephanie with secretarial work, and plays and sings music during services.
God has brought us through so much in our four years of ministry together. Her husband Matt, one of our dear team members, was killed in a car accident in December of 2017. But, God is using the heaviness of our grief to teach us to long for Him and to live each day with the reality that it could be our last. God is still in control. He is still good and will only ever always do what is best for His children.
"I'm convinced, more now than ever, that being a Coffey Team member is a precious privilege. God has used these people in my most gross moments of grief to lovingly draw my gaze back to Christ. I can only count it a privilege to be able to share Christ with others as we travel. God has done so much for me and is giving me so much grace and joy as I stumble through the grief of learning to live without my husband and be a single mom that I can hardly keep quiet about Him. Hallelujah! God is good and I believe it!"
