Pastor Tigg Vanaman planned an exciting week for our time together. Monday night the church members of all ages participated in a Family Fun Night. We split the auditorium into two teams to see which side could answer more trivia and bring forward the most random items Pastor called out. Everyone enjoyed the fun! Aaron followed up with a message for families.
We are so thankful for the hospitality and kindness of First Baptist in Litchfield, Michigan. Pastor Brent Stille and his church were such a blessing to partner with for the week! To start off the week, Stephanie led a “Coffey Hour”, a time for women of the church to fellowship and share what God has been doing in their lives. It’s in a more relaxed setting, and the ladies enjoy some light refreshments and, of course, lots of coffee. We, Coffey Team women, love this time with the ladies of the church. The “Coffey Hour” time is a way for our team to share what God is doing in our lives as well as gleaning encouragement from fellow women of the church. It’s always a blessing!
We praise the Lord for the work He did during our week of meetings at Dayton Center Church in Silverwood, Michigan. Our team was busy throughout the week! We had a pre-session, a time where we get together with the children, teens and adults before the service for a little extra teaching and prayer. There was a great turn out throughout the whole week. The faithfulness of Dayton Center to run vans throughout their area to pick up teens and children was such a great encouragement to us.
The people of Grace Baptist Church in Birmingham were an encouragement to us all during our week of ministry together. Pastor Craig Hurley and his ministry with Grace Baptist Church and Grace Bible Institute have been a constant source of outreach to not only their own people but those of different churches throughout the area. Each Tuesday night, the Institute teaches close to 100 individuals throughout the day in classes taught by pastors and laymen from all over the Detroit metro area. We enjoyed seeing their special ministry through Bible education.
