Our first week of 2020 ministry landed us in Augusta, GA. It’s always so much fun to reconvene after our holiday break. We get to share stories of things we were able to do and accomplish over the break, new memories from time with our families, and new plans for goals we’ve set moving forward. Being at Westside was a special privilege for our team, because it’s home to our very own Mitchell Beck. It’s so sweet to be able to serve the people that have invested into our team members’ lives. Please take the time to look at our photos for the highlights of our week. We spent Wednesday evening working through Romans 8 in a study of God’s eternal plan for our lives. We set a pattern for the service of studying through a few verses then taking time to sing together congregationally in response, another few verses of study, followed by more time responding in worship. It is always sweet to spend time like this together with a body of believers. And oh, how sweet it will be to share this same worship once we’re together again, as a whole, in Glory! Friday evening was the much anticipated dodgeball tournament. Our team members refereed the games, the teens invited their friends make up teams of 5 each, and we had a blast all evening. At the end of the night the winning team was awarded a collective $100!
Thank you, Westside for the privilege of partnering with you this past week in ministry together. We’ll look forward to the next time we’re all together.
