​A few weekends ago, Aaron was asked to preach in a couple different places for an evangelistic outreach that hits right down his alley—hunting and fishing. He has the opportunity to share the Gospel at two different Sportsmen’s Dinners. The focus of this night is to have men invite their hunting and fishing buddies to come and eat a banquet quality array of meat, meat and more meat. The pastors of Faith Baptist Church in Davison, Michigan have been holding one of these dinners for several years now, and it has really grown to have quite the reputation in their community. As soon as tickets went on sale, they sold out the allotted tickets in just a few hours!

​We were so excited to head up to Garner, NC to be with Community Baptist Church again with Pastor Mike Knight. We were with them for a Sunday last year and looked forward to this week of meetings ever since. God is doing some great things in and through the church, since their first service almost ten years ago. Now they are making preparations to build their own building on some property that God provided for them in their first year of ministry. What an amazing blessing for this church!

​We got to Victory Baptist Church in Whiteville, NC with Pastor Gary Ledbetter on Saturday and started up right away! The church put together a sportsmen’s dinner, and there was a great number of guests who attended. There was fantastic food including venison, good ole North Carolina barbeque and what was labeled “potted possum”…although we hear from sources this was mostly a joke. However, Asher and Liam were the only adventurous ones to actually try it. They weren’t fans. Aaron finished out the night with a Gospel message, and we praise the Lord for those who indicated that they trusted Christ as their Savior. Some of these were family members of people in the church!
