It was a joy to be with Community Baptist in Garner, NC again. We loved getting to fellowship with this body of believers. We were quite busy this week. We began Sunday with a Family Fun night for the evening service. It always a fun to see church people having a good time together. Laughter is such a kind gift from God! Monday evening we had a men’s fellowship with a breakfast buffet. There were many men who came out to enjoy an evening together, and several trusted Christ as their Lord and Savior. On Tuesday the ladies enjoyed chocolate and coffee together. There was a great turn out of women, and a church member’s neighbor trusted Christ. We are praying for good ground and saving fruit! Wednesday evening was something brand new for our team. Ryan worked to pull together an evening just for the kids. After the music service all of the kids were dismissed to a series of competitions. The fastest team of the four was the first to go through the ice cream line at the end of the evening. We had a blast running each of the races for the kids. Most importantly though, it was a privilege to be able to share the gospel with nearly 40 children that evening. We know that God’s Word will not return void, it will accomplish what He desires. This was a humbling reminder that God is able and willing to use even us, as broken and weak vessels, to proclaim His name and give Him glory. Hallelujah! We ended the week on Thursday with an Irish concert. We love getting to share the gift of music with others. What a privilege to partner with the church and provide an opportunity for their unsaved friends to hear the gospel.

We loved getting to serve alongside Bethel Baptist Church in Cary, NC a few weeks ago. This was our first time to be with this body of believers, and it was a joy to get to know the people there. We had pre-sessions for every age group and a Family Fun Night on Wednesday evening for the whole church family. You can see the pictures for evidence of how enthusiastic the people were. It’s always a privilege to be able to laugh together with God’s people. On Thursday evening we dedicated the entire service to worship through music. Aaron intertwined his message between some of the congregational singing and ended the evening on Romans 8:28 with the call for true believers to rest and trust in Christ with full confidence. God has promised to use our every circumstance for His glory and our Good. He is so kind to work the details of our lives (those of us that truly love the Lord as Romans 8:28 says) together for good. How can we not praise Him for His goodness in our lives when we realize how purposeful and loving He is with every detail? We were so encouraged on Friday evening to see a full auditorium of church people and guests. Being able to share the gift of music with others is a beautiful way to warm their hearts before hearing the Good News . What a blessing it is to proclaim the Gospel with believers and unbelievers! Please pray for the seeds of truth that have been planted. |
