Weeks 5-7 from the Carolinas

The last three weeks before our spring break our team was in South and North Carolina. We were in Little River, SC once again, went to Victory Baptist Church in Whiteville, NC and then spent a week at Bible Baptist church in Matthews, NC. 

It was such a sweet blessing to be back with the people of Anchor Baptist in Little River. It was a typical week with a men’s night and a ladies’ night, but these events were not our typical events. Our ladies enjoyed a luau themed night. How fun! We ended the week on Feb 13 with a Sweetheart banquet. This was particularly fun for the girls on our team. The following week we were with Victory Baptist Church. We were there four years ago, so we loved getting to reconnect. Wednesday evening was our family fun night, and let me tell you, it was FUN! Check out our full gallery of pictures on our website. We’ve not had a competition quite that exciting in a while.

Our next week took us to Matthews, North Carolina. It was our first time to be at Bible Baptist Church. We had events for the church, as well as in the school. Thursday afternoon was a school day Cola Wars for the entire highschool. It’s always a lot of fun when we get to deviate from our normal schedule, and our team especially loves getting to work with the teens.
