Tri-City Baptist Church Westminster, CO We arrived at Tri-City Baptist Church in Westminster CO on Friday evening, and the following morning, a few of our team members joined Pastor Senn and the College and Career group on a hike on the Colorado Trail. It was a fun time getting to know some of the young adults of the church. That evening, our team helped with a dodgeball tournament for the youth group. There were well over 100 kids that showed up for the activity (many of them were guests of the youth group), and Aaron had the opportunity to share the gospel with the group. Sunday through Thursday, we held our nightly services for adults along with teen pre-sessions and our kids program! We enjoyed getting to serve the church through music and preaching, Friday night was our Irish concert, and we were encouraged by all the family and friends who came out that the church members had invited. We are always humbled by the opportunities we get to share the gospel during our Irish concerts. We had a wonderful time during our week at Tri-City, and we’re thankful for the opportunities we were given to serve there.

Highlands Baptist Church Centennial, CO We started off our time at Highlands doing both the morning service with the church body and the children in our kids program, and Sunday school with the adults and the teens. In the evening, we celebrated Asher’s and Jobe’s birthday! We’re so thankful for their willingness to serve, and the joy they both bring to our team. Tuesday, we had a Family Fun Night! We enjoyed playing the different games with the church family and making music together. Our team had a great time getting to know the teenagers throughout the week, especially on Wednesday night during our teen event. We played Cat in the Hat, broom hockey, and enjoyed singing together, learning truths about our God, and eating Chick-Fil-A! Thursday evening, we had our Irish Concert, and we had a great turnout of both church members and visitors! We really appreciate the opportunity to share the Gospel with people, especially first time visitors. Please pray that God will continue to work in the hearts of those who came out to the concert that may not know Christ as their Savior. Highlands was such a kind and welcoming church, and we were so thankful to be able to serve with them for a week of ministry. October 2-7
FaithPoint Baptist Church Longmont, CO We had a wonderful time during our time at FaithPoint church! Saturday night, we were able to jump right in with a teen event in the church gym. We played nine square and spider-ball, and had a really sweet time singing together and recognizing God’s goodness in our lives and in their youth group. Our team really enjoyed being able to connect with the teens at this event, and we had great turnouts for all our pre-sessions before the services during the week. Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday were all regular service days, and we enjoyed worshiping together with the church, especially on Sunday morning as we got to enjoy the church’s worship service. We had our kids program during those service times as well, and we’ve really been enjoying our Holiday Extravaganza and working with the kiddos. Wednesday, we had the day off, so we took a team trip to Rocky Mountain National Park! We had such a great time, and we were overwhelmed by God’s creation. We went to the Visitor’s Center at the top of the mountains, as well as Bear Lake and Alberta Falls. We held our Irish Concert on Thursday as our final service with the church. We always have such a good time during our concerts, and enjoyed getting to know everyone who came out for the concert that evening. Our team loved our time at Faith Point and we’re thankful for the ministry they have in Longmont! September 25-29
Red Rocks Baptist Church Morrison, CO We made our way from Nebraska to Colorado, where our team will be for the next month. We were so excited to serve at Red Rocks Baptist Church for the week. We started Sunday with the team teaching a teen Sunday school class, Aaron teaching a class, and Steph teaching a ladies class. We also were able to be involved with both the Sunday morning and evening services. Sunday evening, after the service, we held Ella and Steph’s birthday party! We had a wonderful time celebrating the two of them and are so thankful for their contribution to the team. Monday, we had a regular evening service, and on Tuesday, we were able to attend and play music for the Senior Luncheon. We had such a nice time getting to know the seniors in the church and fellowshipping with them. We also held our Irish Concert that evening, and had several visitors and church members come out for the concert, as well as one of our past team members, Emilee Nelson! Aaron and Steph had the opportunity to catch up and spend time with Emilee after the concert. We were able to hold our children’s program throughout the week, but we didn’t have any teen pre-sessions this week. However, we held our first dodgeball tournament of the semester on Wednesday night, and had so much fun playing with the teenagers, and halfway through, Aaron shared his testimony and we enjoyed some pizza. After the tournament was finished, we held a few rounds of adult versus kids, which everyone found thoroughly entertaining. Thursday morning, we held a work day and left in the afternoon to head to our next location in Longmont, CO. Please continue to pray for our team’s health, as some sickness has been working its way through our team. We are so thankful for your prayers, and appreciate them! September 18-23
Cornerstone Baptist Church Lincoln, NE Our team had quite the start to this week, as our arrival to Cornerstone Baptist Church was delayed due to many unforeseen circumstances with our vehicles. Even though it was a little scary and unsettling, we are thankful for safety. God is constantly proving His goodness, and we learned quite a bit through the situation. We jumped right in on Sunday with both morning and evening services, and we enjoyed lunch with several church members. We had a regular service on Monday as well, and held our kids program nearly every evening, as well as a few teen pre-sessions. We enjoyed getting to know the children and teens in the church throughout the week, and were so excited to be able to share God’s Word with them. Tuesday, it reached 100 degrees, which happened to be the day we were holding our Cola Wars! Needless to say, it was a very hot day and evening, but we still had about 40 teens come out and give their all, and Coke pulled out the victory for the week! The teenagers were so willing to jump right in and play the games and were fun to converse with. Please pray for these teenagers and that God would continue to soften their hearts. Wednesday, we held a Family Fun Night, and we always have a great time engaging with the church family on a more relaxed level. One of the activities we hold on our Family Fun Night is the Tic-Tac-Toe challenge, and it definitely brings out the competitive side of people. Our final night at Cornerstone, Thursday, was our Irish Concert. We enjoyed sharing our fun and sacred Irish music with the church, as well as serving throughout the week at Cornerstone. We were truly humbled by the care the Pastor’s family and the church family showed us during our time with them. Our team is so thankful for the people and ministry at Cornerstone Baptist Church! |
