We made our way from Nebraska to Colorado, where our team will be for the next month. We were so excited to serve at Red Rocks Baptist Church for the week. We started Sunday with the team teaching a teen Sunday school class, Aaron teaching a class, and Steph teaching a ladies class. We also were able to be involved with both the Sunday morning and evening services. Sunday evening, after the service, we held Ella and Steph’s birthday party! We had a wonderful time celebrating the two of them and are so thankful for their contribution to the team. 

Monday, we had a regular evening service, and on Tuesday, we were able to attend and play music for the Senior Luncheon. We had such a nice time getting to know the seniors in the church and fellowshipping with them. We also held our Irish Concert that evening, and had several visitors and church members come out for the concert, as well as one of our past team members, Emilee Nelson! Aaron and Steph had the opportunity to catch up and spend time with Emilee after the concert.

We were able to hold our children’s program throughout the week, but we didn’t have any teen pre-sessions this week. However, we held our first dodgeball tournament of the semester on Wednesday night, and had so much fun playing with the teenagers, and halfway through, Aaron shared his testimony and we enjoyed some pizza. After the tournament was finished, we held a few rounds of adult versus kids, which everyone found thoroughly entertaining. 

Thursday morning, we held a work day and left in the afternoon to head to our next location in Longmont, CO. Please continue to pray for our team’s health, as some sickness has been working its way through our team. We are so thankful for your prayers, and appreciate them!
