Berea Baptist Church

Sunday morning at Berea Baptist Church in Palm Harbor, Florida began with such a blessing for our team. We witnessed the baptism of a married couple of the church into believer’s baptism. Pastor Gotcher read each one’s story of salvation to the congregation as their witness of God’s work in their lives. We loved being able to see the work that God is doing in the hearts of a church before and after we leave a church.

Throughout the week we began each night with a pre-session for the teens, culminating in a Cola War on Wednesday night. The teens were so kind and welcoming of our group, we thoroughly enjoyed getting to know them. Wednesday afternoon we went canvassing at the local high school and middle school, inviting the teens to come. That night a handful of visitors came to join in the fun. We are praying that God will bring these young people back to the church in the future so they can hear the gospel. 

Our team also led chapels at Berea’s church during the week, bringing a small challenge to start the day for the school. The evening services were evidences of God’s continual work with parents professing a new faith in Christ during the week. 

Friday our team went out to enjoy the beach for the day before beginning our trip to Myrtle Beach! Be sure to look come back for a look at our fun Friday adventure.
