![]() We had a jam-packed week with Beth Haven Baptist Church in Simpsonville, SC. It was a blessing to fellowship with Pastor Kerry & Anna Grace McGonigal. We kicked off the week on Saturday night with a men’s evening full of frisbee and other sports, a huge bonfire, and a challenge from God’s Word. Sunday afternoon, we had lunch on the grounds followed by an afternoon singspiration praising God for who He is and what He has done for us. It was so encouraging! ![]() Tuesday night, the ladies met for Chocolate and Coffey. We were excited to have more ladies than anticipated! Stephanie preached a clear Gospel message from Romans 6:23. Wednesday night, the church met together for the Family Fun night. It was hilarious watching the whole church get involved, from the littlest kids to the oldest adults. Thursday night, we presented our Irish Concert and were thrilled to see some kids and their parents from Plain Elementary School come out and join us. Friday, the teens met for a youth conference called “Be Satisfied”. We played typical Cola War games like Tube Tug and Don’t Crack the 6 Pack. The most intense game was by far--broom hockey. After the games, there was a challenge to the teens to find complete satisfaction in Christ and Christ alone. It was a great night and an exciting way to end the week. ![]() Beth Haven was the church Matt and Carol Anne were part of during their years at Bob Jones, so in many ways, it was like coming home for them. And for Abby, she was home! Sunday night, the Chetta family invited our whole team over for dinner and a time of fellowship with them and the Pettit family as well. We always enjoy meeting team member’s family. We were glad her parents and sister were able to come to several services and see a little of what Abby does for our team. Since our whole team went to Bob Jones University, the team was able to catch up with lots of friends still in the area. It was a joy to be in the Simpsonville/Greenville area and praise God for the work He did during our time there and has already been doing in and through Beth Haven. We know that God will continue working in the lives of His people as His Word goes forth. For pictures from our time there, check out our Facebook page.
