Bible Baptist Church (Hampton, GA)

As our spring semester continues, we made our way down to Hampton, Georgia for a Bible Conference at Bible Baptist Church. We had the opportunity to partner with other speakers during the week and be a part of pushing the church toward spiritual growth. Pastor Regier welcomed us to his house the first night for dinner. His was the first of many acts of kindness from the people of Bible Baptist.

Throughout the week, our team was able to have Aaron and Stephanie in the children’s program on the nights that he was not speaking. We were glad to have the chance to see two very exciting and purposeful children’s teachers at work. With their help, we were able to better fine-tune our program to reach the young people of the churches we serve. Due to inclement weather, Aaron closed out the conference early preaching the Tuesday night service.

We enjoyed getting to spend some time in the school, getting to know the students of Bible Baptist in their chapels. Aaron and Jason preached Monday and Tuesday. However, the South hadn’t gotten the winter weather out of it’s system from a few weeks ago. There was quite a bit of ice that accumulated on Wednesday and Thursday so the students got another couple of days off school. We all took the opportunity to work and enjoy some down time and the chance to sightsee. Seth and Jason went into Atlanta to tour the capital building and the CNN Center, while Bree and Becca relaxed and played games with their host family, and the Coffey’s watched their fill of the Winter Olympics. Overall, we were glad for the days of rest! Hopefully this will prepare us to launch into the next several weeks of packed ministry. Please continue to pray as we introduce new music and programs to our ministry.
