It was wonderful being back with the Pastor Dave Bradshaw at Calvary Baptist Church in Cheraw, SC. We had a busy but profitable week of ministry where we saw God actively changing hearts and lives both in the church and on our team. Several adults and kids made professions of faith in Jesus Christ alone. The teens enjoyed having presessions with Matt and the team all throughout the week. Wednesday night, they met an hour before the service and played some 9-square-in-the-air and broom hockey. Some of the girls got really competitive with the broom hockey! It was awesome! Thursday night, we loved seeing many visitors come out for the Irish Concert. Several indicated that they trusted Christ! Friday, Pastor Bradshaw and some men and ladies from the church cooked all day long for a special dinner on Friday night. The fire-roasted chicken and pork were quite possibly some of the best meat our team has ever had. All the sides and desserts were amazing too! After dinner, the team played some music and Aaron preached one last time. It was such a sweet time of fellowship for us all! There were several other random activities and things that were a blessing to us throughout the week. We all enjoyed daily coffee from Pastor Bradshaw and Joel Biester, both who roast their own beans and specialize in espresso and pour-over coffee. We definitely took advantage of that! Some of the team also got to go shooting with a man from the church. Other people in the church gave medical help and advice which was a real blessing. The Bradshaws had our team over for a time of fellowship with games and lots of food. Codenames has become a team favorite, so we taught it to them as well. They loved it and we were thrilled to spend some time hanging out with their family. We had a great time at Calvary Baptist in Cheraw and are looking forward to being back with them soon!
