Cornerstone Baptist Church (Pine Island, MN)

​We drove up from Indianapolis to begin our week at Cornerstone Baptist Church in Pine Island, MN. We had a wonderful time at Pastor Tim Graham’s house when we arrived on Saturday night! It was a joy to reconnect with the Graham family, long time friends with Aaron and Stephanie from their years at Northland Camp. We’d been looking forward to being with these friends since Aaron had schedule the meeting.

Sunday was a day of worshipping with the Cornerstone church family, fellowshipping for a while after both services, and hearing and seeing what God was doing in their church body. After the service on Sunday night, they had a Mediterranean food night—complete with different olive oils, olives, breads, and Pastor’s specialty—baklava!
 
Every night, we would end up fellowshipping with the church folks—sometimes around some delicious food. One evening, we had an impromptu popcorn and root beer night after the service. Just outside of the church building there was a Gaga ball or hands in game that all the kids ran out to play any chance they could. We also had some amazing weather to play some Frisbee outside to get to spend extra time with the teens and children. What a fun group of people!
 
Wednesday night,  we had a Family Fun Night at Cornerstone! Always a highlight, Family Fun Night got everyone involved, and they had a blast! Emilee used to live in the area and she had a few long time friends come to the service on Wednesday and Thursday nights.
 
After our Irish Concert Thursday night we all stayed a little longer to enjoy lots of different pies that the ladies of the church brought. Almost everyday we had another reason to stay longer after the service, to spend more time with these people and to enjoy them even more. We love having times like this with fellow believers, hearing how God is growing them and how they are reaching others with the gospel. It was a joy to partner with Pastor Tim Graham and Cornerstone Baptist Church.
