Sometimes our travels take us across the ocean! Aaron and Stephanie were privileged to minister with Harvest Baptist Church and School in Guam. It was definitely a busy week for them as they spoke multiple times for Harvest’s school Spirit Week as well as for different outreach events. It was such a joy to partner with Pastor Marty Herron again. They started off the Summit Meetings—a focused week for the church--in the services on Sunday. On Monday, the first outreach event was a Men’s Cornhole Tournament. There were around 150 men who came out for competition, delicious food, and a Gospel message at the end. There were several men who indicated that they have trusted Christ! Tuesday was a day just for teens. Over 200 teens showed up at the Cola War, and many of them indicated a need for Jesus and made professions of faith in Christ alone! Many of these were kids who came to the school as from the area surrounding the church. On Wednesday night, Aaron preached for a children’s rally. The auditorium was literally filled with 400 kids, as well as over 200 parents, who heard the Gospel. This was WAY more people than the church was expecting to come, and we praise the Lord for the many unsaved guests--kids and parents--who came! Stephanie wasn’t able to fly out with Aaron for the beginning of the week, but she was able to fly in and participate in the events from Tuesday until the end of the week. On Thursday night, Stephanie spoke for a Ladies Chocolate Café. The church was anticipating 150 ladies attend, but 250 showed up. The ladies were setting up tables and chairs as more and more ladies showed up. Praise the Lord for the many friends who joined us for a special night of fellowship, coffee and chocolate! Around 30 ladies indicated that they trusted Christ to save them. We are praising the Lord for the power of His Word. We are praying for the Gospel seeds that were sown in many hearts throughout the Spirit Week in the school as well as in the outreach events that were held throughout the week. What a busy, yet fruitful week of ministry!
Kristen Caruthers took pictures for us throughout the week and let us post them on our Facebook page. Check them out!
