Lifeway Baptist Church (Elletsville, IN)

Lifeway Baptist Church is a church that we’ve been at many times before, and we were looking forward to serving with them again. The services concentrated on different aspects of family life and how the Gospel affects how we can live with others around us. The highlight of the week was Aaron’s message on James 4 on Wednesday night. There were many testimonies of what God was doing in hearts as they were exposed to the truth of the Word!

Aaron enjoyed the opportunity to fellowship with the leadership team at Lifeway throughout the week. Pastor Von Bokern has been a blessing to Aaron, and it was a joy to be together with he and his wife, as well as the other pastors’ families during meals and in their home. We’re thankful for faithful servants who are serving tirelessly for the Kingdom! 

This week was the perfect week for us to work on our music for our upcoming recording. We were privileged to have Ethan Batan and Tony Brown play with us on Wednesday night as we played Higher Ground live for the first time. They added a new sound to our music with their excellent mandolin and guitar picking. The team has been working tirelessly on the songs we are putting on our CD. Please continue to pray for us as we work hard on the music and that God would use His truth in our lives to change us. We want this to be a spiritual endeavor for our team, not something to build up our name.

Aaron, Seth and Jason went to the “Saul to Paul” addictions ministry to spend time with the men there. This ministry is for men who are trying to conquer addictions or get back on their feet after time in prison. They are heavily immersed in classes all day on the Bible, Old and New Testament, proving that the power of God can overcome sin.

Thursday night Lifeway hosted a teen activity, The Greatest Challenge, a competition between Brain and Brawn! We had a blast with the teens, and Aaron preached the gospel that night. We praise the Lord for how the Spirit worked in the lives of many teens! There were several teens who responded to the Gospel by trusting Christ to save them that night. What a privilege to share the Good News and offer hope to unbelievers and believers alike!
