Mount Tabor (Lebanon, IN)

During our stay at Mt. Tabor Baptist Church in Lebanon, Indiana, the Coffey's were reacquainted with a former Northland Camp staffer. Pastor Jon, a long time friend of Aaron and now serving as youth pastor at Mt. Tabor was there to greet us and show us around their new fellowship hall. And there was plenty of fellowship taking place this week. After a meal with Pastor Grubbs, our first fellowship time with this church family was Sunday night. We were invited and excited to attend an ice cream fellowship!

Throughout the rest of the week, the church hosted meals before the evening service so that members could come straight from work to the service. The attendance throughout the week was so encouraging to our team, along with Mt. Tabor's dedication to inviting guests to attend as well.

Mt. Tabor's theme of "Each one. Reach one." was certainly acted upon during the week. God blessed the church's outreach efforts with many visitors coming to Christ for salvation during the week. We were so excited to hear about the work God had been doing in members and visitors during a short testimony service. On our last night of the week, six people turned from their sin and trusted Christ as their Savior and Lord. We cannot express the privilege it is to serve alongside a church that takes the discipleship of their own community so seriously. We look forward to serving with this family again in the future.
