This past week we were honored to join with Pastor Seth Leeman’s ministry at Noblesville Baptist Church to reach out to the community and encourage the members of the church. The focus for the week, to build up the faith during the revival week and to bolster the excitement already present, developed the passion of this young ministry. Pastor Leeman, Pastor Read and Pastor Hack, all in their 30s are excited about the future of the church. The children’s ministry is overflowing with children that, in time, will grow into a group of young people that are passionate about the hearts of those around them.
We did an Irish Concert on Wednesday night to finish out the services with the adults that week. Stephanie had the privilege to have her grandma come to the Irish Concert and hear the Gospel message and music. What a blessing to have one of her family members come out!
The children loved the excitement of the children’s program and enjoyed doing our verse, the 5 “Secret Codes,” and our songs for their parents on Wednesday night. We had quite a group in the front of the church, reciting at the top of their lungs the things they had been learning throughout the week. That same night, they brought enough children to give Mr. Seth a big helping of shaving cream on his head! They loved every minute of it!
The second half of the week was dedicated to canvassing and preparing for the March Madness Youth Rally for the teens. On Wednesday and Thursday we dedicated a few hours to canvassing the area around the middle and high school, inviting the teens to come enjoy a night of free food, giveaways and a message about the most important decision anyone could make. We were pleased to see some of the teens from Noblesville Baptist bringing in their friends for the first night of the event. Friday night we almost doubled the number of teens and 13 teens professed to come to know Jesus as their Savior that night! Please continue to pray for Noblesville Baptist as they disciple these teens to grow and love the Lord more and more with their lives. We look forward to more opportunities to partner with Noblesville in future ministry efforts!
