![]() We started off our fall semester at Faith Baptist Church of Pembine, WI. The church is without a pastor right now, but the interim pastor, Dan Raught was a special blessing to us. When we first arrived on Saturday night, the team was able to participate in a teen gym night. Seventy teens from Faith and several other local churches combined together for a night of games and a challenge from the Word. We also were able to spread the Word about the Cola War on Wednesday and encourage them to return with some friends. Aaron and some of the team members were able to talk to several teens that were unsure about their relationship with God. It was a blessing to see God at work! We finished out the week with an Irish Concert on Friday and were excited to see people come out and invite guests. There were a lot of friends and family from this area that we were able to enjoy fellowshipping with throughout the week. The staff and boys at Victory Academy for Boys were a special encouragement to our team! They have a unique ministry to boys who have spiritual needs. We also enjoyed having our trailers parked on the Northland campus. The staff there let our kids and team use the Rec Hall as our team work space. They even opened up The Grind, the coffeehouse onsite, and the zip-line just for us! Stephen’s sister lived close by, so the boys were able to stay with her. It’s always fun for us to meet team members’ family. They become extended family for us!
We praise the Lord for what God is doing at Faith and in the Pembine/Goodman/Dunbar area. We’re looking forward to seeing how God will provide a pastor for in His time. Check out our Facebook page here for more pictures and videos from our week in Pembine!
