At the end of last semester, we began the final pieces of a long journey. The Coffey Ministries Team and many of our friends came to Indianapolis to record our first recording. Hymns Renewed: A Fresh Collection of Old Favorites has been a long process in coming, but we have loved the learning! 

This project holds a special place in our hearts, not only as our first cd, but due to the message it holds. Paul in Colossians 3:16 exhorts us to encourage each other in psalms, hymns and spiritual songs, singing and making melody in our heart to the Lord. Our ministry’s main focus is preaching the riches of the gospel of Christ to believers and unbelievers alike, and we also desire to use music as a means of drawing people’s hearts to think on truth. From the get go, we have dedicated our efforts to the Lord, praying that He would be in the forefronts of our minds, not letting ourselves become the center but Christ and His work. And we believe He has truly answered our prayers.

We are pleased and thoroughly excited about the final product of so much work and effort over the past year. Most or all of the texts will be familiar to you, and the music is intended for you to take familiar words and allow them to minister to your heart in a “renewed” way.
