The first week of February we traveled from Florida on up to the beaches of South Carolina. It was hard to trade the sunny beaches of Florida for the “cold” winter up in Myrtle Beach, but nothing beats getting to fellowship with the people of God everywhere we go.
We had a full week in Calvary Bible Church in Myrtle Beach. With Aaron being absent the week before, our team was trying to get back to our normal routine of ministry. It was an answer to so many people’s prayers that we were even able to drive the truck and trailer the nearly 800 miles we needed to go. We have witnessed God’s faithfulness in tremendous ways this semester in the midst of such uncertainty and confusion. Our week at Calvary was full with men’s and ladies’ events, programs for the adults, teens, and children, school chapels, an all-day “Cola War” for the school on Thursday, and an Irish concert on Thursday evening. Check out our pictures via the link to our website so you can see some of the snapshots from our week. We were so encouraged to have met so many visitors, specifically for the men’s and ladies’ events on Monday and Tuesday. It was evident to see that the people of Calvary love the people in their community and are committed to proclaiming the Gospel.
