It’s always special for us to be at our sending church, Westview Baptist Church, where Aaron’s dad is the pastor. Even though there was the possibility of snow on Sunday morning, it did not keep people from coming out for the start of revival meetings. It was great to reconnect with so many familiar faces and meet some new people as well! All throughout the week, it was exciting to see how God was working in people's hearts and changing them. The kids loved the Light International program with Agent Dillon and the rest of the team. An awesome finish to the week was the Irish Concert on Saint Patrick’s Day. In Fayetteville, the team spent a lot of time with the students from Cornerstone Christian Academy. The guys preached for elementary and high school chapels throughout the week. Wednesday was a jam packed day that started with school chapels and then a game day for the high schoolers. In the afternoon, we had a huge cola war that went right into the service and Irish Concert. It was awesome! Several made professions of faith too! We praise God for the work He did softening hearts to the Gospel. This was a big week for the kids program as well. Sunday night, there were 15 kids. By the end of the week, there were over 60 kids in the kids program! It was so encouraging to see how the kids responded from school chapels and brought their parents to the services at night.
